I needed a narrow shelf for a small corner in my office and this worked great! I ordered the taller unit. When I opened it and saw it had 56 screws, I thought it was going to take forever to put together. Honestly, it took me no time at all once I got started. All I used was the tool that came with it and every single screw went in without a problem. You know how sometimes screws and holes don't line up perfectly and you work twice as hard to get them in? I had no problem at all with these lining up and going in straight. It's pretty heavy once assembled and super sturdy. I know it's not Pier 1 but it looks nice too. It fits well with our furniture setup.
