I am very pleased with how this piece looks. Also, I am very pleased with the quality of the wood. It's heavy enough to have a substantial feel that cheap furniture lacks. I like the functionality with one criticism. The good parts are the hinged lid has a nice action and means my turntable is protected when not in use... and when in use. The area underneath has good smart and useful dividers. And the left side has moveable shelves which can accommodate accessories... or I might even turn it into a liquor cabinet. My criticism is this: The space for the turntable is tight. Mine fit, but you can see in the photos that my power and RCA cords are squeezed very tight and barely fit. Also, if your turntable has a plastic cover that hinges open, you almost certainly wont be able to leave it on. So, I'd recommend you measure your turntable and make sure it will fit.
I also had one blemish on the console which is unfortunately right on the front of the hinged lid. Not a huge deal to me... I will fill it with some color and call it good.
Overall I would give it a 9/10, losing one point for the tight space for the turntable. I'm really pleased otherwise. It works great as a table piece in our home.
Sturdy, looks great, easy to set up. I would be careful about where you put your gaming system though. I have an Xbox X and the center space fits it perfectly EXCEPT there is no room for the system to "breathe" so it will overheat if gaming for a while. I pull it out to allow it to vent properly when I play. It is a minor annoyance to an otherwise excellent TV stand for the price. It works great as a table piece in our home. Very happy with the purchase overall.
Initially I was looking for a quiet cooling fan for my NVR security system cabinet to replace the noisy fan that came with the cabinet, as I researched fans I came across this controller which was designed for quick and easy connections to their USB fans, the more I thought about it the more I liked & considered this concept. In the end I took a risk & decided to purchase a USB fan along with this controller. I was pleasantly surprised when I received them and opened the package, the quality looked very good, something you might find in high end cabinets. When installed I found the fan to be very quiet as advertised & I could no longer hear fan noise coming out of the cabinet. The controller itself allows you to automatically control the fans to regulate the temp but what I found and was surprised to see is that the actual temperature of the cabinet thanks to the sensor read-back on the controller was much higher than I had expected, this means that the original fan wasn't doing enough since my replacement was equal to the air flow of the original. What's nice is that this concept of USB connections makes it very simple to add additional fans which in my case is a necessity, I just ordered a couple more fans to allow for more ventilation in my cabinet which will be an easy thing to add since I can plug them into the controller directly or at the fan where there is an expansion USB plug. The controller design and its read-back gives me the confidence that I am properly protecting my equipment. It works great as a table piece in our home.
