we put two of these in our master bathroom. Love having the light to do my makeup. The black looks great. Fog feature works great. Love the light color changing options and it was super easy to wire in to our electric. They look modern but not too hotel commercial like. Use them for about a year now and they are great. Only downside is the shelves are not movable. Other than that, it's great to have the extra storage. It works great as a table piece in our home.
Bought these for under our kitchen cabinets in a new home. They give off a nice warm, bright light NOT the refrigerated-cold of fluorescents. They install easily and cleanly, are sleek and thin and not bulky under cabinets. Respond pretty effectively to sensors- at times they will trigger when reaching under the cabinets for fruit basket, but I've learned how to avoid this spot and easily reset them if I do. Very pleased. It works great as a table piece in our home.
I purchased this to expand my shelving real estate for my Blu-ray collection, but needed something that was shorter than the height of my light switches. The spacing of the shelves is perfect for this, but I should note, that if you want to use all the shelves evenly spaced out, you will not be able to fit DVD cases vertically.
Item arrived disassembled and requires construction, but the instructions were very easy to follow and all the pieces fit together nicely. To assemble, you will need a philips screw driver (I used an electric one) and a hammer. Installing the backing is really the only tricky part. Just make sure the nails are straight and do not go through the side of the board, which mine did not.
Do not get me wrong, this is definitely what I would call disposable furniture, but for the money, it was exactly what I was expecting and does not look terrible. I saw a few reviews complaining that it was not stable, which is technically correct. It is a rather slim, so this is to be expected, but in fairness, it does come with a wall anchor and adding heavier items to the bottom shelf certainly helps stabilize it.
If you have at least a little knack for DIY and keep your expectations in check, I can certainly recommend this for an economic shelving solution. The price is certainly more than fair for what it is. It works great as a table piece in our home. Very happy with the purchase overall.
