I wanted to try slow close hinges on our 'Lazy Susan base cabinet doors. So, I decided to try these as they looked like they would be the correct fit. After I received them, I discovered that I would need to drill new attachment screw holes in the doors. Unfortunately I didn't take measurements of the existing hinges prior to ordering these! They are constructed of heavier metal, and seem like they would operate smoothly after installation and fine adjustments are completed. I feel confident that these replacement hinges are a fine product, but I'm looking for an exact fit without needing to drill additional holes in the doors. However, I will search this manufacturer's store for the correct parts for my application. It fits well with our furniture setup.
I've been hoping to see this type of strip lighting hit the market for a while now. Just as the add shows, it really makes a difference in the light dispersion. It is a nice even glow throughout the whole strip vs obvious individual LEDs. That said the only caveat is that it uses slightly more power, not enough to stop me from using it, but it is worth noting. The manufacturer used 3M for the backing which is a welcome surprise, in the past I've had issues with the backing tape failing after a short amount of time. We'll see if it holds up, but when I applied it it seemed to have a lot of grip. On the two ends one had a female barrel connector, but I'm not sure of the size, the other end had a red and black lead soldered on to hookup to your source. I used an LED remote controller that could turn it on and off as well as dim. The strip had no issues in the full dimming range. I am absolutely pleased with this strip and I think you will be too. It fits well with our furniture setup.
