Got this for behind our couch and against the wall. Takes up no additional space in the home and doesn't seem like additional furniture. Great for having extra accessible plug but not being in the way. It fits well with our furniture setup. Assembly was straightforward.

Great product overall. I agree with other posters that the knockouts were a bit tough but I was able to manage with pliers and a screwdriver. The grommets were a nice addition to minimize dust in the case. I installed this product in my garage and it fit perfectly between two studs. I screwed directly into the studs using the wings on the case that can be extended.

To help anyone else considering this case vs the larger option:
I have the TRENDnet 16-port Unmanaged Gigabit router inside this box (12 ports used) and an 8 way cable splitter inside and it's extremely tight with all of the wiring. I have the 1 gang panel punched out to run the AC cable out the bottom of the case so it wouldn't consume more room. I was able to make it work but in hindsight I wish I would have gone to the larger version for future flexibility. It fits well with our furniture setup.
