If this is put together correctly, the doors are very easy to open simply by pushing on the top of the doors. We were very pleased by little things like covers to hide the screws. It works great as a table piece in our home.

These fans have 3 speeds, on the low and medium speeds they are basically inaudible. On the high speed they make a very faint sound, but move more air. Even on high speed the noise isn't objectionable and is only audible in a quiet room.

I put them under a mobile radio because it was getting a bit warm if used for extended periods of time, the rubber cushions on the fans made a nice base on which to set the radio so the fan vibration doesn't carry through to the radio. The fans take very little power and work great. It works great as a table piece in our home. It fits perfectly in our space.
