I purchased this fan to help cool a refrigerator cabinet on my houseboat. The refrigerator runs 80% of the time on hot days when the cabin temperature exceeds 95 degrees and we have had compressors fail. I installed the fan on the side of the cabinet and drilled vent holes under the refrigerator to draw cooler air from under the boat. The fan is very quiet and appears to be helping keep the enclosure cooler than it otherwise would be. This fan is attractive, provides digital feedback on temperature in the cabinet, and seems to be a well crafted product. It installed easily and worked the first time. It works great as a table piece in our home.
