Sturdy, spacious, well designed, and attractive. I recommend this item. It fits well with our furniture setup.
Price is a bit on the higher side as there are options around the same capabilities out there but that was the only negative I saw. It is well packaged, comes with the drywall saw, cutout, dust bag, and hardware to install it. It has versatile options to allow for a outlet inside the box or just porting wires through a conduit or neat through it. I found that a razer blade was all it took to remove the panel cutouts but it does take some pressure so be careful on the cut. This fits perfectly between two studs, has flexible mounting for the panel so that it can expand in situations needed, like further than normal spacing. It is actually 14.5 inches wide, which allows for some NM wire to run on the one side without contact, I used a thin spacer to make sure it didn't shift in the direction of the wires in my case. Install I would say is a moderate experience thing. It is not hard, but you have to know to check for things first, like pipes and wiring. I used a oscillating saw for my install instead of the provided drywall saw. There is a bit that is perfect for only going as deep as the drywall is so as to not damage what is behind it. I had to remove some insulation behind the unit though, not that it is a exterior wall, but to the garage, but I installed a backer insulation to make up for some of the lost insulation and improve acoustics wherein I think it could potentially be a drum just behind our soundbar. I have not finished wiring, this will house my network, voip box, and mostly wire routing for the TV in front of it. My wireless router will still be above the TV for the steel plate behind the OLED display would block/scatter the signal decreasing strength otherwise but this will decrease the number of accessories that clutter the area and centralize many of the parts. I am happy with this product. It fits well with our furniture setup. The quality really stands out.
