Ordered this ECHOGEAR 9" in-Wall TV Media Box - Recessed TV Outlet & Network Enclosure to install behind the TV in the future so this review is based on an examination of the product prior to actual installation. If you are going to put it in as a retrofit obviously you already need to know where the studs are in relation to your existing setup, and this box is only approved / appropriate for low voltage connections, no AC voltage. So if you want it to be like the pictures show then you need a properly mounted and installed electrical outlet that mounts to the side of this box. Sized to fit between studs this does not have enough room for all your components, but has room for a couple smaller components and hides the power cable when installed properly. Well branded and designed with great instructions, mounting options and customization options. It fits well with our furniture setup. Very happy with the purchase overall.

It's always a risk buying a product like this online; I did good this time.

Box arrived fast, with extra protection supports on ALL the box edges; it took a while to get box open. For a nice change the instructions were not only detailed and simple to follow, the random suggestions made for some laughter: " Side Step: Make nachos. (Optional, but recommended.)

Dead-simple for one person to put together. It did take longer than expected because of my helpers (see images). It's sturdy and looks really good.

There was only one 'catastrophe'. One of the furry children made off with one of the rubber/plastic feet for the black metal stand/base. It will never be seen again. It fits well with our furniture setup.
