I recently moved into my new apartment and needed some cheap shelves for decor. This product not only looks fantastic with the minimalist black metal supports with a nice dark wood grain accent (which some may find gaudy but I enjoy) but is able to support a decent weight. The height is a bit low for the lower shelves but not too much so to not easily access and see items. Putting it together was fairly simple, the instructions (while brief) aren't too complicated and I'd say if you can build IKEA furniture that this is easier than that. For the price, I'd definitely recommend it, as similarly sized shelve units can run for $50 more. It fits well with our furniture setup. Looks even better in person.
