I made a bit of a mess with the reciprocating saw, but that was the only issue with this install. Our wooden sideboard absolutely roasts our Xbox so we got accustomed to leaving one of the doors wide open with a portable PC fan on while it was running. I decided to pull the trigger and install this fan and now, using 'Smart mode, it comfortably keeps the inside of the sideboard at 85? (the minimum setting I have it configured to even run the fans) using just the lowest (one of six) fan speed with the doors fully closed and virtually no audible noise. The sideboard is a solid wood piece of furniture with 1/2 backing and 1 panels elsewhere, including the solid front cabinet doors. Installation was a bit tricky with such a beefy piece of furniture, but well worth it! It works great as a table piece in our home.
