I really wanted to have a flush tv mount. I originally had one of those tv mounts with the arm that allowed the tv move forward and tilt but after a while the screw that allowed the tv to tilt down wore down and I found myself with a tv that was always tilted down and didn't have the flush look I wanted. This fixed the issue. I already had an outlet behind the tf but the cords were still sticking out of the plugs so that didn't allow me to use a flush mount. With this I was able to put all cables inside as well as an Apple TV. I have the smaller option It works great as a table piece in our home.

You can't go wrong for a basic box to tie together services.
There are two size knock outs on this panel. The small knockouts are capable of accepting a 1" and 1.5" conduit. The large knock out accepts a 1.5" and 2" conduit. There are two small knock outs on each side. Four knockouts on the top (2 small and 2 large). On the bottom- one small knockout, a combo plate with a small knockout, and a power knockout that accepts a standard metal old work box with dog ears.
The sides have tabs that can be deployed for flush mount to half inch sheetrock. Included is a pack of foam to cover the knockouts and reduce friction while sliding cables as well as minimize vapor transfer through the panel to the wall.
This is pretty much the standard box for structured media in a small house or apartment. Personally the larger size is better for future proofing but this should be able to handle a gateway and a dozen ethernet runs with little issue. It works great as a table piece in our home.
