Friday calm dinner prep is when this wall sconce feels most at home in the living room. It works with the rest of the room instead of competing with it. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled.

The hallway looks more complete with this wall sconce in place. The everyday routine has been a better test than any first impression. The longer it is here, the less I think of it as a new purchase. The room needed a small adjustment around it, which was more about our layout than the light.
