Our room made the most sense once relatives stayed over for the weekend; the space felt much more welcoming. I needed a few days to get used to the room with it there, but that hesitation passed quickly. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled. It turned out to be one of the more satisfying updates we made.
