During walking past the artwork after dinner, this picture light feels especially natural in the study.

The study has a better sense of balance with this picture light in place. The room needed a small adjustment around it, which was more about our layout than the light. The room now feels considered without feeling staged. The placement took one small rethink, though I am happy with where it ended up.

Our display wall made the most sense once relatives stayed over for the weekend; the update made more sense once the room was actually busy. The brass detail was one of the reasons this version stayed on my list. It has quietly become part of the way the room feels at the end of the day. It turned out to be one of the more satisfying updates we made.
