We used this to cool down an electronics cabinet at work. It was up to 86 degrees and after installing this system it has dropped to 72-73 degrees. We have a opening in the toe kick to let air in and then is blows out through the fans. In smart mode it will alert us if the temp gets too warm. The fans are really quiet. Hopefully they will last for a long time as they do have to run constantly to get it down to 72 degrees. You do have to cut holes to mount the items, which is not hard if you have a jig saw. I will probably get another one for a second cabinet that we have. The comfort level exceeded expectations. It fits perfectly in our space.
