The installation and assembly was a snap. Well constructed and durable. High quality and looks great. The builder put in the same product in my last home and loved it. It fits well with our furniture setup. It fits perfectly in our space.
Given the bad reviews maybe we got lucky. But this came in a day and a half, just in time to set it up for my parents before having to fly back to the other coast. It's heavy and very sturdy. Many people complained of no instructions but they are easy to miss in the big box (10 pages- comes in a manila envelope 8X11- look for it, it is not with the hardware). It would be a nightmare without instructions but with them, all the parts large and small are marked with a number and the corresponding instructions tell you exactly what to do with visuals and how many of each part you will need step by step. You could do it with one person but two makes it even easier. The doors are adjustable and if you know how to adjust the hinges it's simple. We did not have to make many adjustments for them to hang evenly (all quality hinges are made with this adjustment). Given that real wood is hard to find anywhere and certainly not at this price, I am very happy with the way this MDF/ laminate looks. It's great in the chocolate, in other words it does not look cheap and it will probably wear pretty well. I hate paying over $100 for MDF products- but this is a fair price for what is available in general. Very happy with this, I will try to post pictures later. It fits well with our furniture setup. The quality really stands out.
