With this being portable I wasn't expecting much, but this is built really well and it's great for use at home in our garage.0 The comfort level exceeded expectations. Looks even better in person.
I bought this product for use in a cabinet where my wine fridge is mounted. The prior airflow was sub-par and the fridge unit would trigger an alarm on warm days. The Airplate running in exhaust mode at the top of the cabinet appears to have solved the problem. If needed, I might add another one for air intake at the bottom of the cabinet later on.
From the moment I opened the box, I was impressed. It was nicely packaged, well documented, and had everything I needed to install and use the product. The templates helped me cut the holes properly and are a great tool. The connections are clearly labeled and easy to hook up. I was able to choose the appropriate settings on the controlled very easily by reading the documentation.
If I had a wish list item, it would be an alternate set of connectors on the bottom, top, or side of the controller instead of the back. The USB cable sticks straight out of the back and into the cabinet Luckily, my wine fridge had enough clearance but if I have to replace it in the future I will need to be careful about the size. An alternate idea might be "right-angle" or "low clearance" USB cable if something like that even exists.
I am very happy with this product so far. The comfort level exceeded expectations.
