Perfect for larger vintage stereo equipment. I have a 1971 Pioneer receiver that is too wide for most stands. It fits in this one with no problem. The LED lights are a fun addition as well, but not something I was looking for. It works great as a table piece in our home. Very happy with the purchase overall.

It is an outlet box, that is recessed. Great for hiding cords and organizing your home equipment. I'll say it feels pretty tough, durable and not likely to just break. I like that, when installed, it is easy to get into and doesn't protrude while also being accessible. It also has spaces for outlets to be installed inside so you can have power to your accessories. It works great as a table piece in our home. Very happy with the purchase overall.
