As advertised, will buy again when the need arises. It works great as a table piece in our home. Very happy with the purchase overall.

I needed a temporary console behind the couch. I didn't like this enough to keep because I felt it looked cheap. We continued to use it and the plugs were so handy (the plugs there is part of the reason it looks cheap) and it was nice to have a place to put our drinks, Kleenex, remote, phone ... umm, we never sent it back! ha. We're still using it and it's grown on me. I actually really like it because it is so handy. I also haven't found anything I like more- that I can afford right now! It works great as a table piece in our home.

I was going to try to build something to do what this device does, but it would have been a fiddly, annoying task and probably would have cost me at least as much, if not more than this does. When I found this I decided not to waste my time with an ugly solution.

Overall this does exactly what it's supposed to. I do wish it had a larger hysteresis so the fan wouldn't cycle on and off quite as often, but that's just personal preference and would possibly be a problem for applications different than mine.

I also wish it had an indicator light to show me when it has powered the fan, which is nearly silent and not in an easy to see location. It works great as a table piece in our home.
