The kitchen island area feels more welcoming with this linear chandelier in place. I was specifically considering a tiered design, which is one reason this version stayed on my list. The room feels finished but still relaxed.

Around finishing the room update, we added this linear chandelier, and it gave the space the lived-in feeling I wanted. It has quietly become part of the way the room feels at the end of the day. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled.
