I have a couple sets of fans, one set for my receiver and another for my Xbox. Both in a cabinet so air flow is important. These just work - plug the controller into power, plug a fan into this (or fans in parallel), set the temp you want, and put the probe where you care about. Allows powering these from the wall but only running the fans when the devices are actually on. Great stuff. The comfort level exceeded expectations. It fits perfectly in our space.
