Assembly instructions are very good. The only issues I had were adjusting the hinges to make the doors close properly. Took way too much time. They should come pre-adjusted. That said, it was worth the effort It works great as a table piece in our home. The quality really stands out.
Justo lo que necesitaba, fcil de armar It works great as a table piece in our home.
Reason for buying:
My modem, router, NAS and a Raspberry Pi sit in a closet at my house, along with their power adapters, a UPS and a printer. This heats up the closet and I wanted to vent it to keep it a little cooler.
Mounting this fan in the top of the closet to blow the heat out to the closet in the adjacent office closet seemed the best way to do this, but I needed to do this quietly and efficiently.
Pros:
The included template made it REALLY easy to mark and cut the hole in the dryway to fit the fan. The included screws and zip tie plus self-stick zip tie attachment makes cable routing easy too.
There's a power supply included to give the fan some extra oomph, rather than powering it from the USB port of the router or Raspberry as I planned to. it turned out I had an extra outlet in the UPS I could use.
The fan, plate and mesh are all very nice and high quality. No chance of this bending or failing.
The fan is SILENT! The only reason I hear it is because of slight resonance in the wall. I could probably reduce that by cutting some of the foam from the box the fan shipped in to the right size and make a gasket out of it. I haven't bothered.
The speed control/switch is easy to use and the USB cable is long enough to reach quite far AND it has the pigtail USB port so you can plug another fan into it. Brilliant.
Cons:
None that I've found yet. It works great as a table piece in our home.
