I don't know if this is normal but it doesn't look like the pictures in the manual or on the Amazon product web page. as I stated, I bought 2 of them and they arrived today. They both have broken segments on the display. As you can see in the picture, the frame around both the brightness icon AND the fan speed icon, appear to be broken and doesn't go all the way around, as it is missing a segment on top and bottom of the frames. Both of the units that I purchased, are exactly alike in the display. So I'm not sure if it's normal or what as a doesn't look like that in the pictures. To me if they don''t look like any of the pictures then it doesn't seem like it's normal. I'll give of better review once I hear from the company. But I don't like the way it looks, and I may send them back if I can contact amazon, because of this issue.
Update!!... after looking at many reviews with included photos and also watcching videos on youtube and even discussing it with my buddy was the one who refered them to me, as he had been using them for a year or so. also a showed that the displays on both if his has that same breaks around the fan and brightness. Plus also hearing direct from the company through email, stating it WAS normal! Thank you AC Infinity!:-)
I did finally give one of these units I purchased to my son to hook up to his Xbox One X, as it was his second replacement game console under warrenty. He really likes knowing the temps now as he and his family plays it! I am planning to hook up the second one I purcahsed to my original Xbox One console! :-)
For that I increased my Star rating! :-) It fits well with our furniture setup. It fits perfectly in our space.
Not the sturdiest when you need to move it but fine when stationary. It gets the job done and the shelves are a good size and well spaced. You get what you pay for in a good way. It fits well with our furniture setup. Assembly was straightforward.
