I've been hoping to see this type of strip lighting hit the market for a while now. Just as the add shows, it really makes a difference in the light dispersion. It is a nice even glow throughout the whole strip vs obvious individual LEDs. That said the only caveat is that it uses slightly more power, not enough to stop me from using it, but it is worth noting. The manufacturer used 3M for the backing which is a welcome surprise, in the past I've had issues with the backing tape failing after a short amount of time. We'll see if it holds up, but when I applied it it seemed to have a lot of grip. On the two ends one had a female barrel connector, but I'm not sure of the size, the other end had a red and black lead soldered on to hookup to your source. I used an LED remote controller that could turn it on and off as well as dim. The strip had no issues in the full dimming range. I am absolutely pleased with this strip and I think you will be too. The storage and design are exactly what we needed. Assembly was straightforward.
