I have a built in cabinet and an Onkyo TX-NR3030 receiver which these run hot to about 90F. I previously had two 4 inch fans but they were really loud. I purchased this Airplate T9 and I would highly recommend this for anyone with a HT cabinet with receivers/amps that run hot. Since this has a built in temp sensor I have this set for 76F and my receiver now runs extremely cool down to 75F. This fan is so Quiet you don't even know it's running. I also want to tell others that you can turn the light off so it's not on all the time. If you choose to turn the light off it will only turn on for a few seconds when you make changes to the temp or fan settings and then goes off after about 3 seconds. I highly recommend this product. The service was great, well built quality product and it shipped out fast and well packaged. I will purchase another of these as soon as I get my other cabinet completed. Very HAPPY Customer!!! It works great as a table piece in our home. Assembly was straightforward.
