Worked perfectly It works great as a table piece in our home. Assembly was straightforward.
After scouring the internet for a solution to make my own fan array for my office networking gear, switching, modem and VivoPC bundle, hidden in a nice little cabinet which was getting way too hot. I was so happy I found this T9 setup. It is a really nicely built product, not cheap feel in terms of hardware or aesthetics. Easy to install as it came with guides for cutting out, which were pretty much spot on in terms of size. No problems with wiring, USB and power are straight forward. Also there is a useful sticker mount for the temperature probe (Did not use yet as still deciding on where to trunk all the wiring).
Operationally it works very well on auto/smart and at the one bar speed level it is whisper quiet and you cannot notice it (I sit about 2.5 meters away from the cabinet. I mounted two T9's as I plan to put a UPS in the other side but just waiting for the sound proofing.
It did maintain temperature settings and mode when I turned the power off and back on again, which is a nice touch.
Only one packaging quality disappointment (so if you are reading Bernard M), the T9 fan array comes with 4 optional wood screws and in the manual it says that the fan controller should also come with four wood screws, but in both my T9 boxes for the fan controller unit they were missing. Had to use the nuts and bolts which were fine, but form the inside of the cabinet it looks a little ugly.
Overall it is a great product that does the job! It works great as a table piece in our home. It fits perfectly in our space.
