I hadn't yet figured out exactly what I was going to use this media stand for when I picked it up. However, when I saw its four beautiful wooden shelves and its compact design, I knew I'd find a good use for it as a storage option, and I definitely have.
Though the assembly overall is a fairly simple and straightforward process, there are a few tricky details to keep in mind if you're trying to be a perfectionist about it. There's a bit of wiggle room at most of the screwed joints in the main frame, so I left the screws slightly loose at first. Then once I had each section of the frame straightened and made sure they were perfectly aligned, I then tightened each of the screws.
Another small tip that might help is to make sure that the long screws for the wooden shelves are inserted at a good, straight angle. Since these screws are pretty long, inserting them at an off-angle could risk them popping out of the wood. As long as you take your time and keep these 2 things in mind, the assembly process should go smoothy and easy.
The finished product looks just like what's shown in the official product images. It isn't the largest stand, but it's just perfectly sized for the spot I chose. I placed it near the main door to my room, and the compact size works perfectly, as any larger, and it would have gotten in the way of my walking path. I find this stand so convenient as I just toss all my essentials, like my wallet and keys, on the top shelf so I can just grab and go while the rest of the shelves provide plenty of space for miscellaneous items I use often.
This media stand has quickly become my most frequently used storage spot, and it's as beautiful as it is functional. It fits well with our furniture setup.
I got this a couple of days ago..& put it together by myself!! ( Im 70) the directions were easy to understand, I am just using mine as a decorative piece rather than holding a TV...there was only 1 piece when putting it together that i needed help..it was putting on the top piece, but other than that, i managed by myself...i really love this piece, it matches my other furniture very nicely..I highly recommend it~~ It fits well with our furniture setup. Looks even better in person.
Got this for behind our couch and against the wall. Takes up no additional space in the home and doesn't seem like additional furniture. Great for having extra accessible plug but not being in the way. It fits well with our furniture setup. Very happy with the purchase overall.
