The hardest part about installation was cutting the holes. The templates for cutting are perfect. I have a wood cabinet so I tried about every tool in the garage until I found the easiest....a rotozip. Yes, the fad tool from the 90's got to see its 5th use. I have to say though every time I have used it it's more than payed for itself. After entirely too long I remembered the tool. Cutting the holes was easy after that. I cut the holes for the actual fans slightly larger than the template as per the instructions to prevent noise(rattle or humming). Not much just outside of the line I traced on the template.
Wiring is super easy. I bought a two fan system. The instructions say the fans are one way and you have to take one casing apart and flip the fan. Luckily, I checked the air flow before I did that because it was already set up as an intake and exhaust. It looks great now that it's in and works like a champ. It works great as a table piece in our home.
