I purchased this because my entertainment cabinet was getting way too hot with my xbox one, receiver, and xbox 360.

I installed this after I had my cabinet for awhile, so if you anticipate needing this, try to install it along side setting up your cabinet if you're purchasing a new cabinet since you will need to drill into cabinet and remove areas large enough to place both the fans and the control unit; doing this after you have setup your cabinet, depending on how much you have in it, will be time consuming.

It comes with everything you need (including stencils), minus the hardware required to actually install it (screw driver, drill and saw), but if you're wanting to install something like this you should already own these.

The fans connect to the control unit through USB, and have extra USB ports for adding additional fans, which is really nice.

The fans aren't really loud, you can't hear them if the TV is on, but if the TV is off, you can hear a slight hum from the fans, which depending on your settings, will turn off at a set temperature.

Cable length for the fans and the control unit are long enough to give you more options for placement.

The fans blow air in to the cabinet by default, so if you're planning on using these as an exhaust fan (with an intake fan elsewhere in your cabinet), make sure you remove the fans and turn them around prior to installation, since it is much easier than trying to do it after they are installed ;) It works great as a table piece in our home.

Bought the AC Infinity Controller 1 to thermostatically trigger an ACI S1 fan. It does. Well made, install hardware provided, operation booklet included, packaged superbly. But .... there's always a but ...... I think it's about $4-$5 overpriced for what it does. Think about it: No WiFi, no Bluetooth, no alarm, no app, only 4 trigger settings and an always on function. Better priced in the ~$12 range, IMO. It works great as a table piece in our home. Very happy with the purchase overall.
