I bought this to hold TV and network equipment for my place. The box arrived kind of thrashed but it was well packaged and none of the parts were damaged. I have assembled cabinets before and have not needed to use any spare parts, but I did so on this one. The hole where the cam locks fit in and lock to the screws studs on one side were a little shallow. I tried to lock them in but the cams snapped in two when I put a little pressure on them to lock. After I broke one, I backed off the screw stud a bit and used the spare cam lock. The other on the same side cracked and I had to replace that one as well. Be gentle on the cam locks. The instructions also said you needed a square to align the back before nailing it on. I didn't have one, but used a study piece of cardboard to align it. Doors and hinges attached well and were easily adjusted. All in all, happy with purchase. It took about 2 hours to assemble. The comfort level exceeded expectations. The quality really stands out.

The patch panel is fairly straight forward for anyone that has ever installed any networking before. The 110 block backs work perfectly well with a standard punch down tool and the wiring is easy enough to route through the provided guide slots. In my case, I, at the time, only needed around 5 ports, but I opted for the 24 port model over the 12 port, because I knew the building I was installing this in would eventually be moving into the 15-20 port range thus allowing myself some extra slots already available for when that occurred.

I would suggest that if you are going to use any other patch panels in the Leviton box to get at least the medium sized box, because the small box would not truly allow for much room left over for anything except this panel, as it easily takes up one whole side of the box. The comfort level exceeded expectations.

Wonderful patch cables. I have had zero issues with packet or speed loss. The thinner cable is nice to slim down the mess of your server rack as well. The comfort level exceeded expectations. The quality really stands out.
