Bought a cabinet that had ventilation holes at the bottom shelf which is where I intended to place the amp of my stereo system. The amp is the main source of heat so I mounted the temp probe on the bottom of the shelf above it. I purchased an S3 fan to mount under the cabinet to push some additional air onto the amp and mounted the two T7 fans to extract hot air at the top of the cabinet. Everything just plugs into the controller.
The internal shelves have openings to allow air movement within the cabinet and the fan arrangement appears to be effective. I have the set point at 90 degrees and when the fans are triggered the temperature drops a couple of degrees within a minute. Music or movies, even at low levels, masks the fan noise completely. Everything still appears to be working fine after about 4 months of use.
Aside from some uneasiness in having to saw and drill holes in a new cabinet, installation was straightforward and setup was very simple. Exercise some care selecting the locations for the components and the results should make anyone feel like a hero. It works great as a table piece in our home. Assembly was straightforward.

This is better than I expected. The price was low. I thought maybe it would be of lesser quality but, it's very nice. Doors line up just fine. Doors close on their own, which is great. Lots of storage. Color is beautiful. I just love it It works great as a table piece in our home.
