My network cabinet (made of wood so as not to absorb RF) containing my WiFi router/ap and other gear was regularly getting into the 90's (F), leading to intermittent outages. Adding this fan to the back of the cabinet (blowing inwards, with the hot air escaping through existing openings) brought the temperature down to within a few degrees of the ambient temperature in the room.

The fan is audible on high, but fairly quiet. On lower settings it cannot be heard.

NOTE: for full fan speed you MUST use their supplied "USB" adapter which uses a non-standard voltage. If you use a regular (5V) USB adapter, the fan will run slower: "HIGH" in that case will be some where between MEDIUM and HIGH with the supplied adapter. It works great as a table piece in our home. It fits perfectly in our space.
