We mounted this under the eaves to hold the cord for our outdoor LED lights. It is actually mounted upside down. I worried that it would latch close but it holds quite well. Plus it's waterproof so we don't have to worry about a short either. There are several holes from which to choose for the cords to go it. It fits well with our furniture setup.
