Thursday guest prep made me realize this wall sconce had already become part of the entry. The crystal detail was one of the reasons this version stayed on my list. I like it most when the room is being lived in rather than perfectly styled.

Our hallway made the most sense once we had family over for dinner; the space still felt relaxed with everyone there. It has been easy to live with on ordinary days.
