The patch panel is fairly straight forward for anyone that has ever installed any networking before. The 110 block backs work perfectly well with a standard punch down tool and the wiring is easy enough to route through the provided guide slots. In my case, I, at the time, only needed around 5 ports, but I opted for the 24 port model over the 12 port, because I knew the building I was installing this in would eventually be moving into the 15-20 port range thus allowing myself some extra slots already available for when that occurred.
I would suggest that if you are going to use any other patch panels in the Leviton box to get at least the medium sized box, because the small box would not truly allow for much room left over for anything except this panel, as it easily takes up one whole side of the box. The storage and design are exactly what we needed. Looks even better in person.
