This Echogear 9" in-wall recessed media box can eliminate the need for a table or shelf under or near a wall-hung television. The ability to add an electrical outlet in the box further simplifies saving space where your television is mounted. The product page doesn't state whether the box is manufactured of strong PVC or a type of plastic. The box installation inside the wall is not complicated and took about 20 minutes. Mounting the equipment and changing over the power cords took more time than the installation of the box. My television box, internet power center and other equipment fit very well. This small box is going to replace a large, cluttered shelf that was holding all my television equipment. This box can be painted to match the wall color if desired. Great product! 10 stars!! It works great as a table piece in our home.
