My Xbox One X was overheating inside my entertainment center due to poor airflow, so I installed two computer fans behind it and used a USB to dual 4-pin fan header adapter to power them. But, the USB ports on the One X are always on, even when the console is off. So I connected this device to the Xbox via USB, and ziptied the included temperature probe to the back of the Xbox where the hot air comes out. Now, the fans turn on shortly after turning on the Xbox and they stay on for a few minutes after shutting the Xbox off, until the temperature reaches the cutoff threshold. Occasionally the fans will turn on briefly while the Xbox is off, this is a little annoying and could be remedied by allowing a higher temp threshold (the highest/ hottest setting is 96 F). The comfort level exceeded expectations. Looks even better in person.
