The advantage of ac infinity usb multifan is you have an inexpensive effective device cooling down your receiver. It can be plugged into the usb port on the rear side of the receiver so it can be turned on and off at the same time as the receiver, you have an inline 3-speed controller that has settings for on/off and low, medium, and high fan speed.
The disadvantage is the lack of automatic fan speed according to temperature. To get this you have to get ac infinity's aircom series. Usb multi fan is to placed on top of the receiver drawing out hot air so the fans are clearly seen not a part of receiver with many usb cables on top of the receiver. You turn the multifan on and off with the receiver but that is to say there is still residual hot air inside the receiver which is not drawn out by the fans as these are turned off.
In conclusion ac infinity usb multifan is an inexpensive device to draw hot air from receiver when turned on but if you want more settings and a device that appear as integrated with the receiver you have to choose one of ac infinity's aircom series. It works great as a table piece in our home.

If you don't like to assemble things or not handy at assembling thing this is not for you. It took some time to do but the finished product was great. It works great as a table piece in our home. The quality really stands out.
