The packaging was excellent. The instructions are mostly visual but very easy. I'm 78 and it took less than 15 minutes to assemble. The quality is good and it fit the space I had allocated for it perfectly. It is not high end but has a good appearance and is attractive in a longer hallway. It works great as a table piece in our home.
